At a time of marriage crisis, the chaos takes toll on us. We deal with it not only physically but also mentally and emotionally. We can not put our bodies, minds and hearts to rest because of all the turmoil that has been going on around us. The fights and the arguments will not keep us at bay. And the result? We become physically, emotionally and mentally weak. If this continues, it is not impossible for us to break down.
So here are some tips that might help you stay positive while in a marriage crisis:
1. Take deep breaths
If you are facing a great amount of problems and you think you can’t take it anymore, it is time for you to back a little, take a deep breath and unwind. Find time for yourself and relax. Sometimes, you just really need to sit back and relax. An option here is meditating or finding your inner peace. Usually, finding a comfortable time in the day, sitting while eyes closed and then taking a deep breath can give you the inner peace you are looking for.
Once you are relaxed, you can make wholesome decisions as you can think clearly and calmly. Your approach towards your problems will be more mature.
2. Listen to music
Did you know that music can actually affect the nerves of the brain? Studies have already proven that music has soothing properties and can calm the mind. A worried mind like your will set a great application as music can diffuse worry, tension, anger and such.
When you are down or you feel gloomy, listening to your favourite song can be a good choice. Calm your mind down and if you can already think clear, you can think of your problems.
3. Go places
Staying inside your house and locking yourself up will not do any good at all. You will just feel more miserable than ever. Try diverting your attention and wander to places a bit. You can go to places where you can feel relaxed and then that is when you will think about your problem. Do not confine yourself as it can also confine your mind and well, might drive you insane.
The nature, especially the flowers and the greens, have a calming effect to the mind. Even the chirping of the birds and the gust of the wind can contribute in our relaxation.
